Life as a woman can feel like a never-ending balancing act. We carry so much – work, family, relationships, health, and the expectations of others – while often forgetting to notice our own needs and truly take care of ourselves.

The weight of it all can leave you feeling stressed, anxious, burned out, or emotionally overwhelmed. Life transitions, such as perimenopause, menopause, relationship endings, losing loved ones, or standing at a crossroads, can stir up emotions that feel impossible to navigate on your own. At times, it can feel like you have lost touch with who you truly are and what feels meaningful to you.

I created Sacred Women’s Journeys as a safe, welcoming space for women of all ages and life stages to come home to themselves. My work as a holistic therapist blends talk therapy, mindfulness, body awareness, and relaxation practices, helping you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gain clarity on a deeper level.

HOLISTIC THERAPY APPROACH:

  • We begin sessions with simple, trauma-informed practices to anchor awareness, calm the mind, and regulate the breath. You will connect with the body-mind-heart axis, cultivating sensitivity and awareness of the different layers of your being. Mindfulness helps you notice thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment, creating space for self-compassion and insight.

  • Gestalt Therapy is a humanistic, experiential approach that emphasises personal responsibility, self-awareness, and present-moment experience. We explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours shape your experiences, including patterns from your past, and develop conscious strategies to navigate the present. Techniques may include guided imagery, role-playing, and creative expression to support integration of mind, body, and emotion.

  • In the final 20 minutes of our sessions, you will be guided into Yoga Nidra, a state of deep, conscious relaxation. Rooted in the wisdom traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda, Yoga Nidra supports hormonal balance, nervous system repair, and emotional recalibration. It complements talk therapy by providing space to integrate insights, release tension, and explore new ways of being.

  • Sessions can also take place outdoors at Kings Park in Perth, combining the healing benefits of nature with therapy. Eco-therapy supports grounding, reduces stress, and enhances emotional wellbeing by reconnecting you with the natural world. The combination of mindful presence, talk therapy, and nature’s restorative energy can deepen self-awareness, clarity, and inner peace.

I guide women through a holistic therapy experience that nurtures the body, mind, and heart. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which focuses mainly on thinking, my sessions integrate mindfulness and guided relaxation to calm the nervous system, release tension, and help integrate new insights.

As a woman navigating midlife, including hormonal shifts, healing after hysterectomy, emotional upheaval, and life transitions, I offer a trauma-informed, gentle, and compassionate approach. Through Gestalt Therapy, often called “Awareness Therapy,” we explore patterns that hold you back, deepen self-awareness, and make choices aligned with your True Self.

Combining spiritual and holistic practices, I create a space for profound self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. If other forms of therapy have left you frustrated, stuck, or feeling like nothing changes, I can guide you through mindful, spiritually informed, and holistic therapy tailored to your needs.

I believe authentic healing is found in the synergy of Gestalt Therapy and spiritual practice. While spirituality inspires connection and positivity, it can sometimes bypass deeper emotional pain; a phenomenon called spiritual bypassing. True healing comes from embracing all aspects of experience, both joy and sorrow (and everything in-between). My approach honours the fullness of life without shying away from challenges, fostering self-awareness, emotional integration, and grounded transformation.

  • Each holistic therapy session is 70 minutes and the time breakdown is approximately:

    • 10 minutes of grounding mindfulness practices to anchor awareness, regulate breath, and calm the nervous system.

    • 40 minutes of talk therapy (Gestalt-informed) exploring thoughts, emotions, and behavioural patterns.

    • 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra guided relaxation, supporting nervous system restoration, emotional recalibration, and integration of insights.

    This structure supports women through anxiety, low mood, life transitions, burnout, grief, and other emotional challenges.

  • Holistic Therapy sessions are available in our peaceful Subiaco sanctuary, online via Zoom, or optionally in nature at Kings Park in Perth, West Australia. This integrative approach combines mindfulness-based therapy, spiritual counselling, and guided relaxation to support emotional wellbeing, stress management, and personal growth.

    Session Options:

    • Single session (70 minutes): AUD $160

    • 5-session pack (70 minutes each): AUD $700 (valid for 3 months)

    • 10-session pack (70 minutes each): AUD $1200 (valid for 6 months)

    Your investment in holistic therapy allows you to prioritise yourself, break repetitive patterns, and cultivate clarity, emotional resilience, and personal growth.

    • Your payment secures your booking.

    • Single sessions are invoiced, with payment due prior to the session.

    • 5- and 10-session packs are invoiced in full and paid prior to commencing, with validity calculated from the date of your first session of the pack.

  • Sessions can optionally take place outdoors at Kings Park in Perth. Eco Therapy combines therapeutic practices with the restorative benefits of nature, helping you ground yourself, gain clarity, and restore balance. Please note you will be laying down on the earth, on a towel with a pillow for your head for guided relaxation during Eco Therapy sessions.

  • I bring extensive training and experience, including:

    • Final stages of Gestalt Therapy training at the Gestalt Therapy Training Institute WA (GTIWA).

    • Over 300 hours of experiential Gestalt Therapy training under professional supervision.

    • More than 3.5 years of formal study, graduating November 2026.

    • Member of Gestalt Australia and New Zealand (GANZ ).

    • Member of International Institute for Complimentary Therapists (IICT).

    • Over 800 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, teaching yoga since 2012.

    • Experience facilitating women’s retreats, women’s circles, and mindfulness-based practices since 2012.

    • Trauma-informed counselling and support for life transitions, grief, burnout, and emotional wellbeing.

    • Mandatory reporting requirements apply only in situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law.

    • Sessions are provided in a women’s-only, safe, and non-judgmental space.

  • Holistic therapy sessions are not eligible for rebates through Medicare or private health insurance. Clients can benefit from discounted rates by purchasing a session pack of 5 or 10 sessions, offering a cost-effective way to engage in ongoing mindfulness-based therapy, spiritual counselling, and holistic support.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Appointments cancelled with less notice, or missed appointments, will incur the full session fee. This policy ensures fair access to available session times for all clients.
